Easy to use, got my account

So I tried out the 50K Funded Challenge last week. It was pretty simple to sign up, just picked it, paid, and my account info showed up in my email not too long after. Started trading on MetaTrader 5 right away. Everything worked like it should. No headaches, which is always nice.

Solid overall, one small snag

I signed up for a 25K Funded Challenge. The process to get started was quite smooth, and the trading dashboard is pretty intuitive. I appreciate the clear rules and the performance analytics are helpful for reviewing my trades. My only minor complaint was that a support ticket I submitted about an EA integration took almost 24 hours to get a response. Not a huge deal, but quicker support would be better. Still, good value for the price and I'd consider them again.

Good value for a first challenge

As a first-time buyer, I was really looking for the best deal. I got the 10K Funded Challenge. The price felt fair compared to other firms I looked at. The sign-up was straightforward, and I felt like I got good value for the money spent. It's a solid entry point for someone new to prop trading. I was happy with the purchase.

Amazing platform, so happy!

I tried the 100K Funded Challenge and it was fantastic! The platform felt super responsive, and I loved the MetaTrader 5 access. Everything went smoothly from signing up to getting my account details. I'm definitely going to use them again for my next challenge. Really recommend FX Rivals to anyone looking to trade!

Hey guys, thinking about signing up for one of the challenges. How long does it usually take to get through the two-stage eval? Just wondering about the time commitment.

C Cody 1 month ago
It really depends on your trading style, but there's no time limit for the evaluation stages. You can take as long as you need, which is pretty cool.

Yeah, what the other person said. I took my sweet time on stage 1, like a month, then crushed stage 2 in a week. No pressure on the clock, which is good for avoiding stupid mistakes.

What's the deal with news trading? Can I trade during major news releases or do they have restrictions?

N Noor 1 month ago
I think you can news trade if you get the add-on, otherwise it might be restricted. Check the specific challenge rules, some firms are strict on that.

You can trade news, but sometimes you need to buy a 'news trading add-on' during the challenge purchase. It's an extra option. If you don't get it, better to avoid trading during red-folder events just to be safe.

What payment methods do they accept? Just curious before I get all the way to checkout.

T Tara Kim 2 months ago
I paid with my credit card, no issues. I think they take crypto too, but not 100% sure on that one.

Pretty sure they do major credit cards and maybe some crypto. I used Visa. It's usually listed clearly on the payment page when you go to buy a challenge.

Can I use EAs or trading bots with their challenges? Or is it strictly manual trading?

A Alex 1 month ago
Yeah, they allow EAs. It says so in their terms or FAQs somewhere. Pretty standard for prop firms nowadays.

I'm using an EA right now on my account. Just make sure it's not doing anything against their rules, like high-frequency scalping if they ban that kind of stuff, but generally, EAs are fine.

Thinking of trying the 50K challenge. How does their profit split actually work? Is it good compared to others?

T Todd Beaumont 2 months ago
Starts at 80/20 in your favor, which is pretty solid. And you can upgrade that, I think.

A Andre 1 month ago
The base is 80/20, yeah, which is competitive. I've heard you can scale up to 90% or even higher if you're consistent and hit certain milestones, which is really nice in the long run.

Is there any way to get a discount on the 100K challenge right now? Looking to jump in but wanna save a few bucks if possible.

M Mia Silva 1 month ago
Keep an eye out for seasonal sales like Black Friday or New Year. Sometimes they have flash sales too. You usually enter codes at checkout.

They do pretty regular promos. Check their social media or sign up for emails. I snagged 15% off my first challenge last month, just had to punch in the code when I paid.

Does anyone know if FX Rivals is available in the US? Some prop firms have weird restrictions for US traders.

B Ben 2 months ago
Yep, they're available in the USA. Didn't have any problems signing up from California.

R Renee Ito 2 months ago
I'm in Texas and trading with them right now. So yeah, US traders are good to go.

Anyone know if you can use a discount code for a reset or only for a new challenge purchase?

C Carly F. 2 months ago
Most codes are usually for new evaluations only, unless it specifically says it applies to resets or extensions. I'd double-check the fine print of any coupon you find.

G Gwen 2 months ago
Nah, almost all the promo codes I've seen are just for first-time challenge buys. Resets and extensions typically aren't included in those deals, which sucks but is pretty common.
